Reedy Reels single event tickets go on sale Friday

GREENVILLE, S.C. – Film fans can start buying individual tickets to the third annual Countybank Reedy Reels Film Festival tomorrow, Friday the 13th.

The Reedy Reels Film Festival is the Upstate’s largest annual celebration of film, said Mike Giordano, one of the festival’s board members. This year’s festival will be held Saturday, November 4 and Sunday, November 5 at the Peace Center’s Gunter Theatre.

Individual tickets cost $12 per session. There will be 37 films screened over seven sessions this year. New to the festival this year—workshops on acting and storytelling. There are also day passes that cost $30 for Saturday or Sunday, and gets filmgoers into any showing that day. A $50 Festival Pass gives attendees premier seating at all of this year’s film screenings and workshops. All tickets can be purchased at the Reedy Reels website or the Peace Center Box Office.

The Reedy Reels Film Festival promotes the appreciation of the art of filmmaking while generating support for independent film-makers especially in the Upstate. The festival engages the community and creates exposure for local film-making while building inspiration and new opportunities for local artists.

Festival supporters for 2017 are Countybank, Metropolitan Arts Council, Michelin, BMW Performance Center, Constellation Brands, Let People See, Endeavor and the City of Greenville. A final listing of movies being shown will be announced later this month.
