Kennedy named Director of Therapy Operations for Spartanburg Rehabilitation Institute

Jessica Kennedy recently was named director of therapy operations for Spartanburg Rehabilitation Institute. Spartanburg Rehabilitation Institute is a 40-bed, freestanding facility that provides specialized rehabilitative services to patients throughout Spartanburg and Greenville, S.C., who are recovering from disabilities caused by injuries, illnesses, or chronic medical conditions.

A physical therapist, Kennedy has worked for eight years in inpatient and outpatient rehabilitation settings in Spartanburg, S.C. Her special interest is in neurological rehabilitation.

Kennedy graduated from the University of South Carolina in Columbia, S.C., with a bachelor’s degree in exercise science, and from the Medical University of South Carolina in Charleston, S.C., with a doctorate in physical therapy. She is Neuro-IFRAH trained and certified, and also is certified in LSVT BIG for Parkinson’s disease. Jessica has a certified therapy dog and is a member of Therapy Dogs International.
