VentureSouth announces investment in SENTIO

November 29, 2018

VentureSouth announced its investment in SENTIO, a South Carolina-based software-as-a-service human resource tool.

SENTIO’s proprietary platform aims to make the hiring process more effective by discovering what top performers within an organization have in common, then using that data as a benchmark for future hiring. The company successfully launched their SaaS platform in August and is already experiencing significant growth. Last month, VentureSouth led a substantial Series Seed investment in SENTIO. The company plans to use the capital to attract talent, invest in customer acquisition activites and prepare their platform for the high usage and traffic.

SENTIO’s CEO, AJ Richichi, states, “For an early stage start-up like SENTIO, raising money is an arduous task. The team at VentureSouth made us feel welcomed and valued throughout the process. We are more motivated than ever to return to our investors many times their investment while exceeding expectations across all lines of business. Our vision to reinvent the hiring process would not be possible without VentureSouth and we are looking forward to a great relationship.”

Paul Clark, a Managing Director at VentureSouth, states, “SENTIO has the potential to revolutionize the hiring process for businesses of any size. We are extremely proud to have them in our portfolio and look forward to watching them continue their impressive growth.”
