FinTrust welcomes Rick Coad

FinTrust Investment Advisors announces that Rick Coad has joined the firm.
“We are excited to have someone with Rick’s public finance experience join FinTrust, as we build out our municipal direct lending business. Increasingly municipalities are borrowing directly from banks rather than capital markets, and we believe we have the platform to help community banks access and evaluated municipal credits while helping smaller municipalities access needed funds,” stated partner Allen Gillespie.
Coad brings over 40 years of financial industry experience to FinTrust. He was Senior Vice President at AmSouth Bank, First American National Bank and Raymond James Financial, as well as a Managing Director for Duncan Williams. Most recently, he served as the general securities principal for INTL FC Stone Securities.
Coad has a B.S. in Business Administration from Belmont University and holds series 7, 24, 53, 52 and 63 Licenses.
