Tire Centers, LLC (TCi) Names Don Byrd as Chief Operating Officer and President

DUNCAN, SC -Don Byrd has been named the new chief operating officer and president of Tire Centers, LLC (TCi). TCi is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Michelin North America. Previously, Byrd had served as the vice president of marketing for Michelin North America’s passenger and light truck tires division since May 2009.
“I am excited to join TCi to work with such a dynamic organization,” said Byrd. “My initial objective will be to take a talented group of people to the next level and to make TCi a stronger partner to our valued customers.”
Byrd replaces Guy Pekle, a 28-year Michelin veteran, who is returning to France to assume new responsibilities for the Michelin Group. Additionally, TCi has appointed Vitor Silva as its new senior vice president of the commercial tire division. Silva recently worked as a director of commercial business for the Michelin Americas truck tires division.
