CAV International Wins 10 Airfield Services Contracts in Central and South America

GREENVILLE, SC – July 27, 2010 – CAV International, Inc., a US Government outsourcing contractor with expertise in airfield services & logistics, announces that the United States Transportation Command (USTRANSCOM) has awarded CAV various airport operations in new multi-year contracts for Air Terminal and Ground Handling Services across 10 countries in Central and South America. CAV (pronounced as in cavalry) is a subsidiary of Ranger International Services Group, a private equity consolidator specialized in aerospace/defense services.

CAV International successfully renewed airfield support contracts at:

  • Silvio Pettirossi International Airport, Asuncion, Paraguay
  • Carrasco International Airport, Montevideo, Uruguay
  • Tocumen International Airport, Panama City, Panama, and
  • Mariscal Sucre International Airport, Quito, Ecuador.

CAV will be commencing new airfield services at:

  • Ezeiza Ministro Pistarini International Airport, Buenos Aires, Argentina
  • Arturo Merino Benitez International Airport, Santiago, Chile
  • Juan Santa Maria International Airport, San Jose, Costa Rica
  • El Salvador International Airport, San Salvador, EI Salvador
  • La Aurora, Guatemala City, Guatemala, and
  • Simon Bolivar International Airport, Caracas, Venezuela.

Additionally, CAV International was recently awarded a follow-on contract for similar airfield services at El Dorado International Airport in Bogota, Colombia. Thus, CAV has attained significant strategic presence at 11 Latin American airfields.

With the successful award of these contracts, CAV International will now be operating on behalf of USTRANSCOM in 14 countries worldwide, and has multiple other international bids pending award.
