Purchase your REAL ID at Columbia Metropolitan Airport

Purchase your REAL ID at Columbia Metropolitan Airport on Wednesday, October 17th between 10:00 am – 2:30 pm. The SCDMV mobile office will be on-site in the Airport’s Carolina Room which is located in the baggage claim level.
Beginning October 1, 2020, a REAL ID license or ID, or another form of federally approved identification, such as a valid U.S. Passport or military ID, will be required to board a domestic commercial flight; enter a military base, and visit a secure federal building.
To purchase a REAL ID, please bring all of the required documents such as your government-issued birth certificate or unexpired U.S. Passport, proof of social security number, two proofs of S.C. address, and all legal name change documents.
