The COMET launched new customer service hours and a call center

The COMET launched new Customer Service Hours effective Monday, July 30, 2018. A call center is now opened in order to effectively serve current and prospective riders. This will contribute to ease of mind and convenience while catching The COMET throughout the Midlands.
Ticket Sales and Customer Service at the Transit Center are as follows:
- 7:00 a.m. – 7:00 p.m. Weekdays
- 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. Weekends & Holidays*
Call Center Information Line – (803) 255-7100 is as follows:
- 7:00 a.m. – 9:00 p.m. Weekdays
- 8:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m. Weekends & Holidays*
Transit Center Waiting Room is open the following hours:
- 5:00 a.m. – 11:45 p.m. Weekdays
- 6:00 a.m. – 10:00 p.m. Weekends & Holidays*
*Closed on Thanksgiving Day and Christmas Day.
Additionally, the Assembly Street Bus Shelter will be open in early Fall 2018 with customer service window, vending machines, restrooms, security officer and cameras and a heated waiting area.
