Sisters of Charity Foundation of South Carolina hires Ericka Wooten and promotes Meredith Mathews

The Sisters of Charity Foundation of South Carolina announces Ericka Wooten to join staff as Program and Initiatives Manager. In her role as Program and Initiatives Manager, Ms. Wooten will work primarily with the Kinship Care and Immigrant Families Initiative grants. She will provide support for several key areas of the Foundation, helping to coordinate functions within the Program, Initiatives, and Operational areas. She will also work with the Diversity and Inclusion Team to assess grant opportunities and programs.
Ericka Wooten earned a Bachelor of Arts from the University of South Carolina Upstate and Masters of Business Administration from University of Phoenix. She has over 10 years nonprofit experience spending the last seven years serving Providence Hospital and Providence Health in marketing, fund development and assisting the Market CEO.
In her new role as Program Manager, Meredith Mathews will be integral to the Foundation’s grantmaking team. She will provide oversight for potential applicants, qualified applicants and funded grantees. Ms. Mathews will engage in substantive leadership around the grants program by reviewing and responding to inquiries; conducting due diligence on potential grants, participating in funding recommendations as needed and monitoring and tracking the progress of existing grantees and their programs.
Meredith Mathews graduated from Columbia College in 2014 with a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology.
