Scott and Company announces supervisor promotions

South Carolina accounting and consulting firm, Scott and Company LLC announced the promotions of Dave Bodiford and Sam Wheeler to supervisor. In their new role, they will be responsible for overseeing engagements from beginning to end.

Bodiford joined Scott and Company LLC via a merger with the firm in 2014. His experience includes assisting with audits, reviews and agreed-upon procedures for clients in a variety of industries, as well as preparing payroll and managing books for various small businesses. He holds a Master of Accountancy and a Bachelor of Science in Administration from the University of South Carolina. Bodiford is a member of the South Carolina Association of Certified Public Accountants and the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants. He currently resides in Columbia, South Carolina.
Wheeler joined the firm in 2012, bringing with him varied experience in public accounting, including work as an auditor with a top 25 accounting firm, as well as internal audit and compliance experience in financial services and higher education. He holds a Master of Business Administration from Winthrop University and a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Lander University. Wheeler is a member of the South Carolina Association of Certified Public Accountants and the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants. He is a resident of Columbia, South Carolina.
