SC Bar offers free legal clinics in the Midlands

The SC Bar Public Services Division will sponsor three free legal clinics in the Midlands in February. The schedule is as follows:

  • February 13—Bankruptcy Law Issues, presented by Philip M. Creel. The clinic will be from 7 to 8 p.m. at Irmo Branch Library (6251 St. Andrews Rd., Columbia 29212).
  • February 13—Wills, Estates and Probate, presented by Alexander S. Imgrund. The clinic will be from 6 to 7 p.m. at Richland Eastover Branch Library (608 Main St., Eastover 29044).
  • February 20—ID Theft, Fraud and Scams, presented by Carolyn G. Lybarker and Martha S. Phillips. The clinic will be from 6:30 to 8 p.m. at Richland Library (1431 Assembly St., Columbia 29201).

These seminars are free for anyone who would like to attend. The format typically consists of an overview followed by a question and answer session. A schedule of other upcoming seminars is available online at www.scbar.org/clinics.
