Chabad to light tallest menorah in the Southeast – December 14

Chabad of South Carolina will light the tallest menorah in the Southeast this Thursday December 14th at 5:30pm at the Chabad Aleph House 2509 Decker Blvd. The Menorah is 27 feet tall and can only be reached with help from the Dentsville Fire Department and their bucket truck.
The event commemorates the victory of a small band of Jewish freedom fighters over their oppressors in 162 BCE it shares a universal message of freedom from religious persecution and tyranny.
