What does poverty look like in your area? And how can we help?

October 17, 2017

On Saturday, October 28, 2017, 10 am – 12 pm the South Carolina Commission for Minority Affairs and Clarendon County Community Development Corporation will host a community forum called “Let’s Talk”.

Let’s Talk is a part of the “Working Together Works” initiative to address issues of poverty and deprivation across the state. We are pleased that the Clarendon County Council on Aging, located at 206 South Church Street, Manning, SC 29102, will host this “Let’s Talk” session.

It is urgent that you let your voice be heard during this “Let’s Talk” session and that you help determine what actions will be taken to alleviate the causes and the devastating effects of poverty and deprivation plaguing your community. Therefore, we urge you to make every effort to participate in this important process.

There will be giveaways and refreshments will be served. For more information about the “Let’s Talk” session please call 803-832-8164 or visit our website at www.cma.sc.gov

The workshop is sponsored by South Carolina Commission for Minority Affairs.
