Soaring Talent – Quebec’s famed acrobatic group Flip FabriQue lands at Harbison Theatre at MTC on October 28

Lauded by The New York Times as, “projecting an irrepressible spirit of fun,” Flip FabriQue, a renowned circus troupe from Canada, will travel to the Midlands and capture hearts with its high-flying humor and technique on October 28, 2017 at 3:30 PM at Harbison Theatre at Midlands Technical College (HT@MTC).
Flip FabriQue was created in 2011 when a group of graduates from the Quebec City Circus School joined forces with a new creative and collaborative act that exists to promote joy, playfulness, and friendship. Since its formation, Flip FabriQue has toured worldwide and also has performed extensively with esteemed companies such as Cirque du Soleil and Cirque Éloize.
“These performers are nothing short of pure joy,” says Kristin Cobb, Executive Director at Harbison Theatre. “We love bringing international talent to our Midlands stage, and by adding the component of acrobatics and playfulness – that’s a win-win! This is a perfect show for kids and kids at heart.”
The troupe is a cirque celebration of gravity-defying fun and camaraderie. The purpose is to create a thrilling experience that reflects a unique image and unleashes each member’s full acrobatic potential. The company adopts a distinctive approach that spotlights each performer’s qualities and strengths to create pure magic on stage.
