Traffic Alert: Clemson Road/North Springs Road intersection improvement project

Motorists in Northeast Richland will experience traffic delays and detours beginning Monday, Aug. 14 through Friday, Aug. 18 due to lane closures at the Clemson/North Springs intersection at Rhame Roads. The scheduled improvements will include placement of new asphalt and pavement markings. The lane closures are planned daily, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Because of expected increased travel time and intermittent detours, motorists, bicyclists and pedestrians are advised to avoid this area during the closure period as there will be delays for all through-traffic.
If motorists must travel through the affected area, drivers are reminded to exercise patience and allow extra travel time during the day-time hours because of heavy construction activity.
