July 28, 2017

Thanks to Modern Woodmen, families served by Family Connection of South Carolina have a chance to be a part of history!

The Total Eclipse Tailgate will be held from noon to 4 p.m. on Monday, August 21 at Touchdown Zone 2, 1064 Key Road, Columbia. Families are invited to view and learn about the total eclipse with Science educators John and Ashley Reed. Protective glasses, refreshments and treats will be provided at this free event, hosted by Modern Woodmen.

“At Modern Woodmen, we bring families together to improve lives,” Said Ted Hewitt, FIC, managing partner of Modern Woodmen of America Fraternal Financial. “We also like to have fun.  What better way to do this than to host a tailgate, learn about the eclipse and experience this unique event together?”

Family Connection of South Carolina serves families statewide, changing lives by making connections, raising awareness and promoting inclusion for those with disabilities and special healthcare needs.
