City of Cayce announces Soiree on State festival

As the City of Cayce unveiled their new community brand, Mayor Elise Partin also announced a new event – the Soiree on State! This new music and art festival will be on June 17, 2017 from 5:30 – 9:00 PM.
Festivities include live music, great local food and drinks (including beer and wine), local artists, a f re e kid’s area, and more! Three live bands will keep the beat going all evening, starting at 5:30 PM with the Jazz Amos Huffman Trio. Next up will be Sweet Soul Music at 6:30 PM playing beach music alongside a dance floor to show off your love of our state dance! The Capital City Playboys will close out the festival covering crowd-favorite rock and roll tunes beginning at 7:30 PM. The fun will continue at Henry’s of Cayce after the live music concludes.
“We are so excited for the first annual Soiree on State. It’s a great opportunity for local artists, restaurants, bands, and residents to come together and celebrate their hometown. We hope you all will join us on June 17!” stated Cayce Mayor, Elise Partin.
Admission is free and t h e f e s t i v a l will take place on State Street between Poplar and Railroad Avenue. Further details including a map for parking and
