Litigator Court Walsh joins Nelson Mullins in Columbia

Courtney E. Walsh has joined Nelson Mullins Riley & Scarborough LLP in the Columbia office as an associate where he will focus on litigating complex business and commercial matters, including those related to the automotive industry, construction projects, government contracts, and environmental permits.

Mr. Walsh has previous experience in providing litigation services with a special emphasis on government contracts, environmental matters, federal False Claims Acts suits, construction projects, and other commercial disputes. He also has worked as deputy counsel for a military air base, providing counsel regarding contracts and acquisitions, employment law, endangered species, cultural resources management, environment planning, and hazardous materials management. He is a major in the U.S. Marine Corps Reserve.

Mr. Walsh earned his Bachelor of Arts, summa cum laude, from the Citadel and his Juris Doctor, magna cum laude, from the University of Florida. He also earned his Master of Laws degree from Harvard Law School.
