House of Raeford’s non-profit organization, FLOCK, is donating over $2000 dollars worth of books to Davis Early Childhood Center for Technology.

There will be a presentation of the books at Davis Early Childhood Center on Friday (January 20 @ 10am). All media outlets are encouraged to attend.

Dr. Cecil McClary, Principal at Davis contacted House of Raeford for help when the need for books became evident.

“House of Raeford and FLOCK are wonderful partners in our community and they love serving our students. We had a need come up and they were excited to help,” McClary said.

Davis Early Childhood Center is a Title 1 Elementary School as it serves high percentages of children from low-income families. The school serves children in Kindergarten through 2nd Grade.

“We are huge fans of all students and educators, and we love our friends at Davis Early Childhood Center! Getting the opportunity to provide resources to help young people learn to read is awesome. We hope this encourages not only the students, but the teachers and staff as well,” Chuck Underhill with FLOCK said.

“We look forward to the presentation on Friday.” FLOCK is the non-profit arm of House of Raeford, which has a several facilities in the Midlands including a production facility in West Columbia.
