Midlands leaders to proclaim Small Business Week

On Monday, May 2 at 2:00 PM the Columbia Chamber, City of Columbia and Richland County will announce the official start of National Small Business Week in Columbia, South Carolina during a press conference at the Columbia Chamber, 930 Richland Street.

National Small Business Week is a campaign organized by the United States Small Business Administration to support and acknowledge the importance of small businesses to the country’s economy. Columbia has participated in the event since 2012 with local programs and events to develop and enhance the presence of small businesses in the community.

Carl Blackstone, President and CEO, Columbia Chamber

The Honorable Steve Benjamin, Mayor, City of Columbia

The Honorable Torrey Rush, Chairman, Richland County Council
