Want to quit wasting money on ineffective advertising?
Don’t we all? Our dollars should produce results.
Many ads do little to move our prospects to act.
They are simply “image” or “awareness” ads.

What we need is direct response advertising.
We’ve been discussing this the last few weeks.

Direct response ads produce qualified leads.
They are the ones inclined to buy what you offer.

Step 1: Create valuable items to offer them free.
These are of high interest to them and include:
• Confidential reports and newsletters.
• In person seminars and emailed courses.
• Evaluations, trial products, checklists and tip sheets. Some examples are:
“How To Tell If Your Contractor Lies To You”
“What You Must Know About Retirement Plans”
“101 Things You Can Do to Save Money”
Focus your ads on making these free to them.
Only your ideal prospects will respond.

Step 2: Send it to them as soon as they respond.
Don’t let a day pass without quickly responding.
We must to do while their interest is high.
Now begin offering them the opportunity to buy.
Do this my mail, email or local newspaper ads.
This approach is effective to two reasons:
• You are advertising to those who showed interest.
• You showed your expertise in a welcoming manner.
No one likes to be sold — but they do like to buy.
By reading your report or attending your seminar:
• They understand that what you offer has value.
• A relationship of confidence and trust has begun.
You are building a list of those you can market to.
Start sending them your newsletter.
Invite them to sale events. Offer them incentives.
Put your ad dollars to work and check your results.
