Ron Anderson reappointed to The Central Midlands Regional Transportation Authority Board of Directors

Colliers International’s Ron Anderson was reappointed by the City of Columbia to The Central Midlands Regional Transportation Authority (CMRTA) Board of Directors for two years. Anderson was initially appointed in November 2011.

During Anderson’s tenure, CMRTA, also known as the Comet, has transformed itself from a struggling transit system in great financial difficulty to a thriving system that continues to add new technological conveniences, expand routes and increase hours of operation.

Anderson also serves as a member of the Environmental Policy Advisory Committee Central Midlands Council of Governments and on the Board of Directors of the Midlands Education and Business Alliance (MEBA). He is a former member of the City of Columbia Planning Commission and the Executive Committee of the Greater Columbia Chamber of Commerce, and is past Chair of the Partner in Education Committee.

Anderson is Vice President of Research and Technology and serves as the chief technology manager for all Colliers International’s South Carolina offices. He is responsible for refining the methodology of the collection and evaluation of commercial real estate market information across the state, planning and executing specialized research projects and managing the firm’s delivery platform.
