Blair elected Chair of Agents and Abstracters Section and to the Board of Governors of the American Land Title Association

COLUMBIA, SC – The law firm of Blair Cato Pickren Casterline is pleased to announce that real estate attorney Cynthia Durham Blair was sworn in as Chair of the Agents and Abstractors Section of the American Land Title Association (ALTA) at its recent annual convention in Boston.  As Chair of the Section, Blair holds a position as a member of the Board of Directors of ALTA, a position she has held for three terms.

Earlier this year, Blair earned the National Title Professional designation from the American Land Title Association.  She is one of only 51 title professionals in the nation and the only person in South Carolina to have received this honor.

Cynthia Blair has nearly 20 years experience in real estate transactions, including real estate closings, REO (real estate owned), RELO (relocation), title resolution, contract and loan-document drafting, and buyer and seller representation. Blair is regularly featured in South Carolina business and law publications and has been a featured speaker and panelist for numerous national and regional associations.  She graduated from the University of South Carolina law school and is a graduate of their Master of International Business Studies program.  She is a founding member of Blair Cato Pickren Casterline.
