Romance in Marketing – Convincing them to love you

.

Will romancing prospects get your face slapped?

Will once loyal clients show you the door?

You must decide that based on your clients.

What are their ages, gender and social values?

My favorite people always hug me.

Men and women. But mostly women.

They are as excited to see me as I am to see them.

.

My physician and her nurse hug me. I like it.

It isn’t sexual. It says they care about me.

A hug literally says things unexpressed in words.

You can express affection in many other ways.

A thank you note. A gift. A compliment.

All of this is a form of romance and bonding.

It brings and holds you and your clients together.

.

Author and entrepreneur Chen Lizra notes this.

Before you read farther, watch her TED talk.

As it was highly controversial, it packed the house. Most people loved it. Some really hated it.

She did it because it was an important lesson to share.

Chen has the body, confidence and flair of a dancer.

Chen talks about seduction — not just romance.

Master it, she says, to get what you want out of life.

Seduction can be used in non-sexual ways.

It will convince others to do what you want.

It’s unfortunate seduction has an unsavory reputation.

Seduction results in influence. Not necessarily bad.

Like money, it is what you do with it. Your choice.

Use it to help others . . . or abuse it to help yourself.

.

It is a skill that can have nothing to do with sex.

Seduction is about untapped power, she says.

Chen’s formula has four steps to get what you want:

The first of these is desire.

Desire is about knowing what you want.

It is about being willing to go after it.
