Gather in Our Carolina Kitchen

 COLUMBIA, SC – Beginning Thursday, March 19th Charleston Cooks! Columbia introduces Carolina Kitchen, a regularly scheduled demonstration-style cooking class celebrating the classic Southern cuisine of the Midlands region.

Guided by our local culinary experts at Charleston Cooks!, guests will learn tips and techniques about using versatile South Carolina-grown products and in-season ingredients to make classic and delicious dishes. The menu will change seasonally and feature three courses with an accompanying glass of wine.

Classes will take place two to three days per week at 702 Cross Hill Road, next to Whole Foods in the Cross Hill Market. These lunchtime sessions are ideal for residents looking for a unique experience or visitors interested in local cuisine. Private events for corporate groups and wedding parties are also available.

  • Asparagus and Crab Fritters with Ramp Aioli
  • Braised Bacon Carolina Rice
  • Cottle Farms Strawberry Tartlets with Vanilla Bean Buttermilk Crème Fraiche
