Scott Wallinger Cited for Presidential Service

COLUMBIA, SC – Capital Rotary of Columbia has cited attorney Scott Wallinger for his service as club president for 2013-14.  He received a plaque and honorary gavel from incoming president Mark Bokesch (left in photo) at a club assembly June 25th.

Wallinger was inducted into Capital Rotary in 2001 but moved to Charleston in 2007 and later joined East Cooper Breakfast Rotary in Mt. Pleasant.  He returned to Columbia and rejoined the Capital club in 2010.

Wallinger has a Bachelor of Science degree from Clemson University and a law degree from the University of South Carolina.  He prosecuted violent and white collar crimes during his first seven years of law practice, but now represents business and professional clients in civil litigation as a shareholder in Collins and Lacy, PC.
