OGES receives AAD Shade Structure Grant

LEXINGTON, SC — Oak Grove Elementary’s School Improvement Council applied for and received a 2014 American Academy of Dermatology Shade Structure Grant totaling $8,000.
The school will use the grant to put a protective covering over outdoor areas on the playground to protect the students from the ultraviolet rays of the sun.
The American Academy of Dermatology also gives the school a sign to display, promoting the importance of sun safety.
