Energy Efficiency Seminar for Congregations

COLUMBIA, SC – September 24, 2012 – The Midlands Green Congregation Initiave and the South Carolina Energy Office will present a seminar on September 24th to guide congregations to reduce their energy usage, leaving more money for the mission of the organization. The seminar is free and open to all faith based organizations.
Energy experts, with experience in the special challenges of congregational buildings will discuss when to consider a complete energy audit, how to evaluate lighting upgrades and how to take advantage of the rebates currently available from SCE&G.
The Midlands Green Congregation Initative is a program of Sustainable Midlands.
