Midlands Young Professional Alliance (MYPA) to Host Summer Soiree

Benefitting Harvest Hope Food Bank

COLUMBIA, SC – July 10, 2009 – The Midlands Young Professional Alliance (MYPA) will host its Summer Soiree networking event Thursday, July 16 at Jake’s Bar and Grill. The event will run from 5:30 – 8:00 p.m. Over a dozen young professional, networking, and service organizations will join together for this quarterly social event. As part of our “Cocktails for a Cause” effort, Harvest Hope Food Bank will be on hand to collect plastic bags, non-perishable food items, and monetary donations.

With nearly 20 organizations, the Midlands Young Professionals Alliance is a collaboration of diverse young professional, networking, and service organizations. MYPA’s mission is to generate an atmosphere of service, cooperation and unity through social, recreational, and cultural activities which stimulates a foundation for relationship building and group interaction throughout the Midlands.
