Sandlapper Securities, LLC welcomes two new members to their Charleston team

Sandlapper recently welcomed Paul S. Martin and Ilya Falkovich to their Charleston team. They will primarily handle Sandlapper’s Fixed Income transactions. Martin was named Head of Sales, and Falkovich was named Head Trader for the Fixed Income Credit Desk branch.
Fixed Income Credit Desk is an independent branch of Sandlapper Securities. The branch offers products and services in fixed income and credit services. While it is independent, it also handles fixed income transactions for the entire firm.
Paul Martin brings years of experience to the Head of Sales position. He previously worked with Morgan Stanley Global Wealth Management and Bank of America dealing mostly with stock options and restricted stock with re-investment into fixed income. Martin founded Martin Capital, LLC in 2011 and co-founded Dominion Capital Hedge Fund. His in-depth financial industry knowledge, technical expertise, and entrepreneurial success give him the skill set needed for this new position. He has the capability to solve market and operational issues, critically think, and maintain relationships in the industry.
Martin is excited to begin with Sandlapper. “I joined Sandlapper because of their stellar reputation in the broker dealer industry and am eager to bring my set of skills to this new team,” stated Martin.
Ilya Falkovich previously worked at Alliance Bernstein, Bear Sterns, and RBS. His positions give him experience in credit training and fixed income. He has dealt with large institutional accounts, providing market color and trade ideas. He earned a Bachelor of Arts in Mathematics and Economics at Columbia University.
