College of Charleston to host pportunity fair for Charleston community

The College of Charleston School of Business’ Department of Hospitality and Tourism Management is hosting The Charleston Hospitality Opportunity Fair on February 6th in the TD Arena from 12pm – 3:30pm.
“The Opportunity Fair is our response to the local hospitality business need for quality team members,” says Wayne Smith, Chair of the Hospitality and Tourism Management Department. “Our partnership with the Greater Charleston Restaurant Association and the Charleston Area Hospitality Association in conjunction with Trident Technical College (Culinary Institute) and the Art Institute is a demonstration of our willingness to meet the needs of our local industry.”
The event will feature over 50 employers hiring part-time and full-time positions, contract or seasonal employment, management-in-training and supervisory positions, internships and volunteer work.
The fair is free and open to the public.
There will be shuttle buses running, free of charge, to TD Arena from both the Trident Tech Main Campus and The College of Charleston North Campus.
