New Vice President recognized for years of consistency and success as an industrial specialist in the Charleston market
Simons Johnson, a Senior Brokerage Associate of Colliers International | South Carolina, has been elected Vice President of the firm.
Working out of Colliers’ Charleston office, Johnson specializes in corporate tenant representation in the industrial commercial real estate sector. He has been with Colliers for over eleven years since his graduation from Wofford College. He is the youngest commercial real estate broker in America to have earned the three coveted professional designations of SIOR, CCIM and MCR and he has won numerous awards over the last five years recognizing his consistency as one of South Carolina’s top producers.
Johnson was selected in 2014 as one of Charleston’s “Forty Under Forty”, a program which annually recognizes the leading young professional, community and industry leaders. He is also frequently published in national commercial real estate trade journals.
Johnson’s success as an industrial real estate specialist is also noteworthy due to the tight industrial market in Charleston. At the end of 2015, the market was the tightest it had been in years, with growing activity at the Port of Charleston encouraging new development and investments.
