CresCom Bank expands team with new hires

 CresCom Bank, the community banking leader within the Carolinas, has added to its staff this month, including:

 

Charleston, S.C.

  • April Hewett has rejoined the bank as an administrative assistant in the Retail Division, reporting to Nancy Bergin. Hewett previously served as an administrative coordinator at the Medical University of South Carolina and a front office coordinator at the University of North Carolina at Wilmington.
  • New team member Terry Ryan will be responsible for accounts payable in the Finance Department, reporting to Ellen Melton. Prior to joining CresCom Bank, Ryan worked at South State Bank/First Federal for 16 years, and previously with Red River Bank and Perpetual Bank.

Litchfield/Myrtle Beach, S.C.

  • Steven Semones is the bank’s newest teller at the 38th Avenue branch, reporting to Diane Platt. Semones previously worked at TD Bank in multiple positions, including teller, vault supervisor and head teller.
  • Judi Hufford has joined CresCom Bank as a part-time teller at the Socastee branch, reporting to Helen Peters. Hufford has significant customer service experience through her prior work experience as an administrative assistant, testing administrator and teaching assistant.
  • Phillip Ammons is the latest addition to the bank’s Loan Administration Department in Myrtle Beach and will report to Jeff Benjamin. Ammons’ previous work experience includes serving as a financial advisor at Merrill Lynch, senior commercial Banker for NBSC Bank and community banking leader for Coastal Federal Bank. Ammons also served in the United States Marine Corps.
  • Mondella Deas is a new part-time teller at the Litchfield branch, reporting to Diana Evans. Deas has previous customer service and cash handing experience in the retail and food and beverage industries.
