Colliers International brokers $1.4 million sale of Charleston industrial warehouse
December 9, 2015Colliers International’s Peter Fennelly, MCR, SIOR, SLCR, Simons Johnson, MCR, SIOR, CCIM and Mike Palmer represented the purchaser, Xiphias Holdings, LLC, in the investment sale of an industrial warehouse at 1871 King Street Extension in Charleston, SC. The 18,570 square-foot warehouse was purchased for $1.4 million.
This sale is one example of a trend of investment sales of industrial properties in Charleston and the Lowcountry. Foreign and domestic firms have expressed great interest in the Charleston industrial market as the Port of Charleston and rail service are making the city a desirable location for manufacturers and distributors seeking to improve logistics and operational efficiencies.
