July 29, 2015
CHARLESTON, SC – The King Street Marketing Group and Halls Chophouse are pleased to welcome local businessman, entrepreneur and former City of Charleston official, John Tecklenburg. He’s running for Mayor this Fall and he’s our guest speaker for Small Business Lunch at Halls, Thursday, August 6th.

Tecklenburg’s plan for the future of Charleston revolves around his three major quality-of-life priorities:

  1. A public safety strategy to make our citizens more secure
  2. A livability agenda that puts our residents’ quality of life first
  3. A blueprint for improving city services without raising taxes
“Yes, we’re proud that people love to visit our city,” said Tecklenburg. “But now it’s time to start putting our citizens’ quality of life first.”

From traffic to tourism to smart, thoughtful development that respects the character of our neighborhoods, he believes that Charleston’s next mayor needs to make livability and quality of life Job One.
