CHARLESTON, SC – Teach For America–South Carolina announced today its participation in Lowcountry Giving Day 2015, a 24-hour online fundraising event sponsored by Coastal Community Foundation. Funds raised for Teach For America will help the organization to recruit, train, and support Teach For America teachers across the Palmetto State.

“We are excited to partner with Coastal Community Foundation to expand our online giving presence during this community giving day,” said Josh Bell, executive director of Teach For America–South Carolina. “Local support allows us to continue our efforts to provide excellent teachers for our students in high-need schools in the Lowcountry. We look forward to new and continued partnerships with individuals throughout the state.”
