SC’s LiveLifeBlue Photo Contest Features VIP Package to Columbia’s ‘Famously Hot New Year’

COLUMBIA, SC – Winners of BlueCross BlueShield of South Carolina’s LifeLifeBlueSM photo contest this month will receive a VIP package to Columbia’s “Famously Hot New Year” celebration.
LiveLifeBlue is a Facebook-based photo competition focusing on a different healthy activity each month. The theme for November is “What Was the Best Part of Your 2014?” The deadline for submissions is the end of November.
The prize package is courtesy of the Famously Hot New Year celebration in downtown Columbia. The winner will receive two VIP Crescent Lounge tickets and a complimentary hotel room at the Marriott Downtown Columbia forDec. 31. The VIP Crescent Lounge, located on two floors in the Capitol Center high-rise at Assembly and Gervais streets, features an upscale environment with unforgettable food, an open bar, a great view of the street party fun and access to the outdoor patio for viewing the concert.
Suggestions for this month’s photo submissions include depictions of exciting life events, an experience of something new, accomplishment of a personal goal, conquering a fear, or anything else considered to be the highlight of a person’s year.
The free competition is open to South Carolina residents ages 18 or older. Participants shoot a “selfie” or have a friend photograph them performing the wellness activity of the month. There are three ways to submit: upload to the entrant’s personal Facebook, Twitter or Instagram account using #livelifebluesc, upload directly to the LiveLifeBlue contest on Facebook, or Email to [email protected].
Past monthly winners have received VIP packages donated from the Peace Center for the Performing Arts in Greenville, the South Carolina Aquarium in Charleston, the Columbia Museum of Art, the South Carolina Jazz Festival in Cheraw, the Riverbanks Zoo & Garden in Columbia, and BMW Manufacturing’s Ultimate Driving Weekend in Greer.
