“This is a big, big victory for the American people.  PresidentObama and Democrats in Congress carefully crafted this law on the basicpremise that every American deserves affordable access to quality healthcare as a matter of right and not of privilege.  This law putsdecisions about medical care in the hands of families and their doctorsinstead of corporate CEOs.  I have said throughout this debate that thislaw is the Civil Rights Act of the 21st century.  History will lookkindly on this tremendous achievement.”
