COLUMBIA, SC – November 30, 2011 – Governor Nikki Haley this evening released the following statement:
“We want to congratulate Boeing for their win today. This neededstability for one of the best companies we have is a huge lift forBoeing employees in our state as we look to celebrate their productionof the first South Carolina Dreamliner in the near future.
“We also want to take a moment to thank the people across the countryfor the support they have given to Boeing and the workers of SouthCarolina.
“Finally, today’s actions confirm two things we’ve said all along: theNLRB is nothing more than a rogue agency run by the President’s unionbackers; and that when the feds attack a company in South Carolina theycan expect us to fight back, and expect us to win.”
