Graham Announces Over $710,000 in Law Enforcement Grants for South Carolina

PLEASANT, SC – September 19, 2010 – U.S. Senator Lindsey Graham(R-South Carolina) announced that South Carolina will receive $716,987in federal grants through the Edward Byrne Memorial Justice AssistanceGrant Program (JAG). These funds can be used for programs focusing onlaw enforcement; prosecution and courts; prevention and education;corrections and community corrections; drug treatment; planning,evaluation, and technology improvement; and crime victims and witnesses.
