CarolinaPower’s Chris Moore promoted to Vice President & General Manager

Chris Moore has been promoted to Vice President and General Manager of CarolinaPower, a leading employee-owned electrical contractor serving industrial, commercial, healthcare and federal market sectors in the two-state Carolinas region. Moore has been with CarolinaPower since it was established in 1999. In his previous role of Operations Manager, Moore was instrumental in CarolinaPower’s steady growth over the past 10 years. Today the company has four offices and a field force that exceeds 100 crew members.

Moore is a strong advocate for workforce development, partnering with industry associations and public schools to promote construction trades as a viable career option. He serves on industry advisory boards at Greenville Technical College and Clemson University, sits on the board of the Associated Builders and Contractors of the Carolinas (ABC), and is chairman for the South Carolina Upstate Electrical Contractors Apprenticeship program.

A graduate of the Georgia Institute of Technology with a Bachelor of Electrical Engineering degree, Moore began his career with CarolinaPower’s sister company, MetroPower, Inc., in Atlanta, Georgia. His professional credentials include Master Electrical License (South Carolina and North Carolina).
