January 21, 2019

High Spirits Hospitality has added three interns for the spring season, Rachel Ritter, Morgan Moja and Meg McAnally.

Rachel Ritter joins the hospitality group as the social media and marketing intern. Ritter, originally from Delaware, found her southern hospitality roots from attending Clemson University where she is currently a junior pursuing a degree in graphic communication minoring in business administration. Ritter is excited to apply her marketing and graphic design knowledge into a professional environment.

The next addition to the spring internship class is Morgan Moja who will help out with event planning and sales. Moja is a senior at Clemson University studying parks, recreation, and tourism management with a concentration in travel and tourism. She hopes to learn more about the event and hospitality industry so she can finally decide what career she would like to pursue in the future.

Meg McAnally joins the team as the business development intern. McAnally, also a student at Clemson Univeristy, is pursuing a degree in graphic communication with a minor in business administration. She first found a love for the hospitality field while working with a catering company in her hometown of Purcellville, Virginia. McAnally has previous experience working as a sales intern, part-time bartender and a management intern. She is eager to combine these interests and experience in this new role all while learning new things to broaden her future career opportunities.

“High Spirits Hospitality’s internship program focuses on allowing students to work hands on with different projects,” said Tammy Johnson, owner of High Spirits Hospitality. “They are gaining valuable experience that will help them in their future career endeavors.”
