Mullikin is the best candidate for U.S. Congress

America needs an infusion of real leadership and Congress needs selfless servant-leaders. South Carolina’s Tom Mullikin embodies both. He is a dedicated social and economic conservative, a successful businessman, a decorated military veteran, and a tireless advocate for our military forces worldwide and our military veterans here at home. He is also a loving father and grandfather.

Tom has spent decades dedicated to serving American manufacturers and energy producers. In this, he has squared off with liberals who have attempted to hijack environment causes in order to raise taxes and promulgate unnecessary regulation. He and his wife Virginia Ann grew up in homes where their fathers worked in a textile mill – an important economic engine in their community. They have seen the economic devastation of communities across this country; a direct result of a Congress failing to address failed treaties and high taxes.

As I have said before – and as Tom and Virginia Ann have experienced – big government and big business have been telling American families that times have changed, that American workers could no longer compete with low foreign wages and that those jobs were gone forever. These big-government career politicians had no plan, and provided no hope. They cared more about themselves than communities like those across the Fifth Congressional District of South Carolina. Tom Mullikin has the experience and conviction to successfully meet these challenges.

Middle America is hollowing out. We can’t sit idly by as big government politicians make it harder for our workers and then turn around and blame them for losing jobs overseas. Tom will fight for South Carolina. He will fight for American workers. He will bring an informed conviction to fight and stop China from stealing the futures of our children. He will ensure a balanced economic field. And when the field is balanced, America wins.

Tom has served as a leading national voice in helping the U.S. regain the title of “world leader” in energy production. Without energy security we cannot have economic security. Tom will also help us regain the title “world leader” in global manufacturing.

Tom and Virginia Ann have been tireless advocates for stronger families. They have walked the walk for stronger families and traditional family values. Tom understands that you can not ignore the reality that faith and family, those two things are integral parts of having limited government, lower taxes, and free societies. He believes the right to life is the foundational starting point for freedom and the government is obligated to protect it and that we must prohibit federal funding for abortion.

Tom will lead us as we take back America from those who seek to deny us our God-given rights of life and liberty. He stands for the principle that every life matters. He will fight for the poor, the disabled, and the unborn.

Tom Mullikin is not only the most experienced, but the most committed in the fight and determined to do what is right for this state and nation. He is simply the best candidate for the Fifth District of South Carolina.
