Riggs Partners recognized for healthcare marketing excellence

Work developed by Riggs Partners for Beaufort Memorial Hospital was recognized with six awards, including Best in Show, at the Carolinas HealthCare Public Relations & Marketing Society’s (CHPRMS) annual Wallies and Golden Tusk Awards on Nov. 20.

Since 1978, CHPRMS has recognized excellence in healthcare public relations and marketing at its annual Fall Conference. The awards feature more than a dozen categories. A panel of marketing communications professionals chooses the winners.

Riggs Partners received the following awards:

  • Best in Show and a Gold Wallie Award for a Mixed Media Campaign for Beaufort Memorial’s Joint Replacement Center. The campaign included two television advertisements, two print advertisements, social media advertisements, a blog post and a PowerPoint presentation.
  • Gold Wallie Award for a 60-second Single Television Advertisement for “John’s Orthopaedic Story”
  • Gold Wallie Award for a 60-second Single Television Advertisement for “Tina’s Surgical Story”
  • Silver Wallie Award for a 60-second Single Television Advertisement for “Stephanie’s Maternity Story”
  • Golden Tusk Award for Patient/Customer Relations for Beaufort Memorial’s MyBMH Patient Portal which included web design, video, collateral and email communications
