Seven new people join the team at Derrick Stubbs

COLUMBIA, SC – Seven new hires have joined the team at Derrick, Stubbs & Stith, LLP.
“We’re excited to have all of these folks on board,” said partner Todd Dailey. “At Derrick Stubbs, we are constantly looking to grow our knowledge base and offer our clients the best and broadest range of services, and these additions to our team will help advance those goals.”
The new hires are:
Alli M. Dilloian. Alli joined Derrick Stubbs as a tax manager in July. Before joining the firm, she worked at a national CPA firm. She has a master’s degree in Accountancy from the Darla Moore School of Business at the University of South Carolina, and is a licensed Certified Public Accountant in the state of North Carolina.
Troy V. Johnson. Troy joined Derrick Stubbs as a tax specialist in May. An Iraq veteran, he worked at a local CPA firm before joining us. He has an associate degree in Accounting from Midlands Technical College, and a bachelor’s in Accounting from Colorado State University.
Kelly M. Slattery. Kelly joined Derrick Stubbs as a tax and audit and assurance specialist in June. She recently relocated from Connecticut, where she had worked in public accounting. She has a master’s degree in Accountancy from the University of Alabama at Birmingham, and is currently working toward completion of the CPA exam.
Mary Lynn Tolleson. Mary Lynn joined Derrick Stubbs in June. She brings a variety of experience in the areas of government accounting, not-for-profit, banking and small business. She has a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from Newberry College.
Neal M. Patel. Neal joined Derrick Stubbs in July as an audit and assurance specialist. He has experience with both public and private accounting. He has a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration/Accounting and a master’s in Accountancy, both from the University of South Carolina, and is currently working toward completion of the CPA exam.
Angelena N. Marthers. Angelena joined Derrick Stubbs in August as a small business specialist. Before joining the firm, she worked in the finance department of a large government-contracted insurance provider. She has an associate degree in Accounting from Midlands Technical College, and plans to graduate from Columbia College with a Bachelor of Science degree in Business, Accounting Concentration, in 2018.
Emmy Zhang. Emmy joined Derrick Stubbs in August as a senior audit and assurance specialist. She has primarily worked in state government during her more than 20-year career, in three states: Indiana, Florida, and South Carolina. She received her MBA from Butler University and has the following licenses: CPA, CIA, CFE and CPM.
