Slif D. Ulrich, MD joins Midlands Orthopaedics and Neurosurgery

Midlands Orthopaedics and Neurosurgery, PA, a member of Arcis Healthcare, LLC, announced that Dr. Slif Ulrich has joined the practice and is now seeing patients at the downtown and Irmo offices.

Dr. Ulrich completed his fellowship in joint arthroplasty at the University of Louisville following his residency in orthopaedic surgery at Union Memorial Hospital in Baltimore, Maryland. He graduated from Heinrich-Heine University School of Medicine in Dusseldorf, Germany and received his undergraduate degree from Semmelweis University of Medical Science in Budapest, Hungary. He is a member of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons, American Association of Hip and Knee Surgeons, and the International Congress for Joint Reconstruction.

Dr. Ulrich specializes in total joint replacement. During medical school, Dr. Ulrich says he became interested in joint replacement because of the positive patient outcomes. “Following a limping patient from severe pain at the preoperative visit, to a total joint replacement, through rehabilitation, and finally, to a painless functional joint, is extremely rewarding to me.”
