South Carolina Charities, Inc. welcomes new board members Frank Davis and Sheldon Early

South Carolina Charities, Inc. (SCCI) has welcomed two new board members, Frank Davis and Sheldon Early. The announcement was made during the 2019 Media Day event where the BMW Charity Pro-Am Presented by SYNNEX Corporation announced this year’s celebrity lineup.

Davis is a shareholder with Haynsworth Sinkler Boyd in Greenville. He represents both publicly and privately held companies in acquisitions, divestitures, joint ventures, strategic alliances, economic development transactions and general contract negotiations. He has been named one of The Best Lawyers in America® consistently since 2011 and was named to Greenville Business Magazine’s “Legal Elite of the Upstate” in 2016 and 2018. Davis is a member of the SC Economic Developers’ Association, Upstate Alliance, and serves on the board for the Caine Halter YMCA.

Early is a seasoned entrepreneur with extensive background in the aviation industry and is the president of Early Technologies and Services, Inc., which provides marketing, strategic planning, and business development for all aspects of the aviation industry. He is on the board of The First Tee and is an inaugural member of its Ace Club. Early recently developed the app “Location Lockbox” which aims to help users stay safe in potentially risky situations. The app was designed to initially target realtors, individuals utilizing online dating apps and college students traveling abroad.

SCCI, the non-profit foundation of the BMW Charity Pro-Am Presented by SYNNEX Corporation, was created to showcase the beauty of Upstate South Carolina and the hospitality of its citizens to the world; create an event that brings the Upstate a fun and entertaining week centered around professional athletes and world renowned celebrities; and raise money and awareness for South Carolina charities. Since 2001, the tournament has distributed more than $13 million to more than 200 charities, part of the PGA TOUR’s total $2 billion raised for charity.
