Cohn Construction Services completes ARAUCO expansion

May 20, 2019

Cohn Construction Services has completed the construction of the ARAUCO Warehouse expansion.

The ARAUCO facility features a 101,225 square foot expansion to its existing campus. The new facility includes a warehouse, truck loading component and bridge connector, and a 22,000 square foot reinforced concrete pad for chip storage. This new expansion gives the Bennettsville ARAUCO plant more than 100,000 square feet of additional space to expand and grow its operations. The building features a 32-foot-high clear height, industrial dock equipment and a dry fire protection system. The warehouse is LED energy efficient through a lighting package with motion sensors to reduce the overall energy footprint.

The ARAUCO expansion showcases Cohn Construction Services continuous ability to complete large industrial projects outside of its home region of the Midlands. ARAUCO produces many sustainable forest product solutions and has regional support centers and panel mills located throughout North America.
