WHY: Part of Richland Library’s Summer Learning Challenge,
Pigskin Poets reinforces the importance of setting and reaching
goals in an effort to help reduce the effects of summer
learning loss.

OTHER: Rosters will be provided at the door.

Are you ready for some football? Richland Library is teaming with the Gamecocks for Pigskin Poets from 3 – 4:30 p.m., Friday, July 19 at the Drew Wellness Center (2101 Walker Solomon Way). Come in your garnet and black gear, and join student athletes from the University of South Carolina’s football team, cheerleaders and Cocky as they huddle off the field for an afternoon of stories, games and autographs. The annual event, led by local storyteller Darion McCloud, has been a favorite of summer learners for the last 23 years.
