Five Points Rotarians recognized

The Rotary Club of Five Points recognized two Rotarians this year for their service to the Club, Community and District.

Bill Latham is a past president of Five Points Rotary Club and received the Service Above Self Award. Bill is a graduate of UNC-Chapel Hill and UNC School of Law and is a partner at the law Firm of Nelson Mullins Riley and Scarborough. He has been a member of the Rotary Club of Five Points since 2002.

Mary G. Gasque is a past president of Five Points Rotary Club and received the Rotarian of the Year Award. Mary also serves as the club’s public image chair as well as Public Relations/Image Chair for District 7770. Mary was also named District 7770 Polio Plus Rotarian of the Year at the All Club Conference in Hilton Head earlier this year. She and her husband, Ken, own Gasque Marketing and Advertising. Mary has been a member of the Rotary Club of Five Points since 1995.

Both awards are given in appreciation and recognition of distinguished service, loyalty and devotion to the ideals of Rotary.
